Rhythms of India
Rhythms of India is a medley of dance and music presented by leading dance academies and regional community organizations.
The proceeds of the event will be used to build an auditorium and a banquet hall at the current IACA facility for the benefit of Indian Community in Atlanta. India Center will be a second home to the community providing - Dance/Music/language/SAT classes, health fairs/yoga classes, activities for Youth and Senior Citizens, banquet facilities for graduation and marriage ceremonies etc.

About Swamiji:
Swami Shantananda has dedicated his life to Mission work and Vedantic teachings, and is presently the resident Acharya of Chinmaya Mission New Jersey. Swamiji was instrumental in founding CM in Hong Kong and Taiwan. As a speaker, Swamiji’s talks are filled with wonderful insights into life and people respond instantly to his wisdom and affectionate nature. In 2001, as his person tribute to Pujya Gurudev, Swami Chinmayanandaji, to commemorate the 50th-year celebrations of Chinmaya Mission, Swamiji undertook and completed 50 Gita Jnana Yagnas all around the world.

For the eleventh year, Raksha will hold its famous fundraiser Ek Shaam Raksha Ke Naam (An Evening in the Name of Raksha) at Tadka Restaurant on November 14, 2009. This year’s exciting show will feature Vijai Nathan, who has performed at the Smithsonian and internationally in South Africa, England and Canada. She was featured at the Montreal International Comedy Festival and the Smirnoff International Comedy Festival.
